the McCloud, Klamath, Upper Sac and Trinity Rivers. Aaron's enthusiasm

Aaron
Martin ~ Aaron hails from Prince Edward Island on the East Coast
of Canada. He has a degree in Fisheries Biology from Dalhousie University
in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Aaron aka 'Fishbone' moved out west almost
10 years ago and continued his work and search for fish. Aaron moved
to Northern California (Redding area) to work as a fisheries biologist
for the Wild Trout Program with California Fish & Game. During that
year Aaron became intimate with the incredible rivers and lakes that
make Northern California a fisherman's paradise. In 2002, Aaron went
to work on the Trinity River as a fisheries biologist for the Yurok
Tribe. Since then, he has spent a huge amount of time both in the water
(snorkeling) and on the water (floating) learning every nook and cranny
of the Trinity and Klamath River Basin. Aaron's job is to know how fish
think and live, he has a true 'fishy' sense and has spent countless
days coaching fisherman and women on what they need to know. Steel heading
on the Trinity/Klamath, or a whitewater trout fishing session on the
Upper Sac in the spring are his specialties. He looks forward to sharing
his passion for rivers and fish with anyone who is ready! |
