Pit River Fly Fishing ~ Northern California

Located near the town of Burney, quite possibly one of the most dramatic average-sized fish rivers in the state. The Pit's steep rocky canyons and slippery rocks make for a challenging yet rewarding day of fishing. This is an excellent trip for the experienced angler. Nymphing is good all season with predictable hatches in spring and fall. The traveler will find unsurpassed scenic beauty once down in the canyon
