Welcome to Cayman Blue Sea Hideaway! We're located on the peaceful East End of Grand Cayman Island, this spacious, 550 square foot studio apartment is steps away from a gorgeous, white sandy beach. There is a queen bed and a single bed, so it is more suited for 2 or 3 people. If there is a 4th, they are sleeping on the fold down love-seat. For this reason, it is not suitable for 4 adults, 1 or 2 children is fine.

This newly built studio apartment has all high-end appliances and a euro-style kitchen. There is a microwave convection oven, a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, full size fridge with bottom freezer and all the appliances you need: coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. It comes with all dishes, cutlery and pots & pans and linens.

A 2nd bedroom is optional , at a slightly higher fee. It is based on availability as it can also attach to another unit. There is a short hallway and it depends on which end of the hallway we unlock the door that determines which unit it would go with. Check with me on availability if you are thinking of adding the 2nd bedroom. Generally it is $100 a week in low season, $125 in high season, $150 for Christmas or Spring Break.

The beach is perfect for swimming and snorkelling. In fact, a marine biologist who stayed with us recently identified 21 species of fish around the pillars that used to support our dock (before Hurricane Ivan destroyed it). We've kept the pillars in place because the fish would leave if they weren't there, and not everyone is so lucky to have incredible snorkelling off their own beach.

"The Sweet Spot" is a 10 minute walk along the beach. This is where the Wind Surfers & Kite Boarders launch their boards.

The bed has a queen-size pillow-top mattress. The sofa has a pull-out bed that is 4' wide (smaller than a double, larger than a single). Therefore, I would say it is more suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. Therefore, the studio can hold 4 people. We can also supply a crib and high chair if you are bringing a baby.

You can also make this a 2 bedroom apartment by adding another bedroom and accompanying bedroom for an additional charge.

Just steps from the patio doors, as you can see in the picture, is a relaxing hot tub.

You are a 10 minute walk to a grocery store as well as several restaurants. Fly Fishing is great all up and down the beach out of front of our home. JT

A Romantic Getaway for 2 !

"Cayman Snuggle Beach" is a spacious, private 1 bedroom apartment located on the ground floor / beach level of a large 3-storey house in the East End of Grand Cayman. It walks out directly to a stunningly beautiful white powdery sandy beach, lush with vegetation and palm trees, right on your doorstep. Lounge chairs are on the beach and there is great snorkeling right off the beach!

You have the option, for a slightly higher fee, of making it a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment, based on availability. You can, however, just rent it as a 1 bedroom apartment, we will just lock off the second bedrooms and bathroom.

If you need yet another bedroom, we can add one more bedroom and bathroom, again there would be an extra charge.

NOTE: IF YOU BOOK FOR 4 PEOPLE, YOU GET THE 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT AND THE PULL-OUT SOFA BED !!! YOU DO NOT GET THE 2 BEDROOM UNIT. IF YOU WANT THE 2 BEDROOM UNIT (if available) YOU MUST CONTACT ME TO ENSURE AVAILABILITY.

This apartment has been freshly painted and decorated in a colourful, Caribbean theme. There is a new, king-size bed with headboard, beautiful tropical comforter and colourful Caribbean artwork on the walls by local artist, Nadine Brown.

The large living room has a pull-out sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and all cutlery, utensils, dishes. Lovely dining table that sits 4 people.

The views from all the windows are spectacular. There is an 8 foot wide by 30 foot long patio with lounge chairs, and the piece de resistance is the built-in circular hot tub overlooking the Caribbean Sea at the end of the patio.

Less than 5 minutes away is a public beach, a grocery store, a liquor store, a large souvenir shop, two dive operators (including Ocean Frontiers, our recommendation for experienced divers), a lively beach bar with great food, and "The Barefoot Man" playing 2 nights a week at the Reef Resort (a must see! He has over a dozen CD's out -- a really fun evening -- packaged as a Dinner/show ). Also 2 minutes away is The Italian Kitchen, or in the other direction, Tukka Restaurant -- don't miss their fabulous Sunday Brunch!

If you are a couple, or small family, and want a peaceful, serene, tropical laid-back atmosphere and privacy, this is the place for you. Anything you need to supplement your stay is just a short drive away. However, there are only a few places in the Cayman Islands where you can walk for miles without seeing other tourists -- just your own footprints in the sand!

Also, it is assumed that if there are 2 people, you want the 1 bedroom unit, or 1 bedroom plus sofa-bed. If you use "Instant Booking" through VRBO and there are 4 people, you will get the 1 bedroom unit with the pull-out sofa.

Extra bedrooms CANNOT be booked through VRBO, just the 1 bedroom unit. If you want 2 separate bedrooms, then you MUST contact me: Firstly, to see if it is available, (it also attaches to another unit). Secondly, for instructions on how to fill out the reservation form in order to get the additional room and bathroom added.

When you book an additional bedroom the rate jumps as the additional room has a separate air conditioning unit [and full bathroom] and that is essentially what you are paying for --- the extra electricity usage and higher cleaning fee. The rate is $500 a week more during low season, $700 more during high season. (plus taxes).

Our calendars are right up-to-date, so if you are interested in the 1 bedroom version, feel free to go to "Instant Book" rather than asking me if it is available. If it shows it's available -- then it is available. :-)

Cottage House - Cayman Cottage by the Sea is a two storey, two bedroom Caribbean Cottage that is absolutely perfect for the budget-minded traveler.

Located on the south (Beach) side of the road in peaceful Colliers, on the East End of Grand Cayman, it is literally steps away from a pristine, white powdery sand beach. Nestled amongst lush, tropical plants, palm and coconut trees, there is a large terrace off the 2nd floor for reading or sun-tanning with a fabulous view of the OCEAN !

Kitchen has recently been fully renovated and includes a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, microwave / convection oven, Full-sized fridge, glass mosaic backsplash and granite countertops.

The cottage is just 10 minutes from the new Shetty Hospital for Cardiac Care -- which is located in High Rock. This is the perfect, low cost option if you have family who are in the hospital and you want to stay close by.

The 'Cayman Cottage by the Sea' is fully equipped with all linens, dishes and cooking utensils. It is ideal for 4 or 5 adults. The main floor Master bedroom has a queen bed. Upstairs, is another queen plus a daybed which has 2 pull-outs underneath. Therefore the Cottage could hold a maximum of 7 guests. You could have the following configurations:

• Up to 5 Adults (Maximum) and no children
• 5 Adults and up to 2 children
• 4 Adults and up to 3 children
• 3 Adults and up to 4 children
• 2 Adults and up to 5 children

We are sorry, but due to licensing restrictions, we cannot accommodate 6 or 7 adults in the cottage --- but we do have other options at the same location we can offer you with more space.

There are two bathrooms; one on each floor. The downstairs bathroom has a shower; the upstairs bathroom has a bathtub but NO shower. . .

We have 2 tandem Kayaks, a single Kayak, and 2 paddle boards as well as life vests that are for our guests to use at no charge.

Beach House - In the Tranquil & Peaceful East End of Grand Cayman Island, the Beach House sits directly on a gorgeous pure white sand beach with all major rooms overlooking the ocean. The pillars of a dock remain (Hurricane Ivan claimed the dock) and here, all the fish congregate, so there is great snorkeling. A Marine Biologist stayed with us recently, and told us she identified 21 different species of fish. You can also swim at this beach.

Cayman Beach House (floors 2-4) has the following configuration:

1. Master bedroom with King Size bed & ensuite on the 3rd floor. Large Terrace overlooking the Ocean.
2. Master bedrooms with Queen sized bed and ensuite on the 2nd floor. Terrace overlooks the Ocean.
3. Third Bedroom has a Queen Bed and Bunk Beds do not overlook the ocean. Bathroom is right across the hall.
4. LOFT: Has a single daybed and is on the 4th floor accessible via a winding staircase. No dresser and open to below. Not suitable for adults, gets too hot.

Therefore, the Beach House itself holds up to 9 people. Newly painted and decorated in an "elegant tropical" theme. There is a Hot Tub on the deck.

The entrance to Cayman Beach House is very impressive and impossible to capture with a camera. The living room ceiling soars 3 stories! There is a lookout from the 2nd & 3rd floor down to the living room.

If you need more than 3 bedrooms, we can accommodate you, but you need to contact me for Rates & Availability. For this reason, if you are booking through VRBO, you will NOT be able to book anything other than the 3 bedroom + loft beach house for a maximum of 9 guests. VRBO will not allow you to input more than 9 guests because of this, however, the beach house is capable of holding 18 guests in total. if you include a pull-out sofa; 16 in regular beds.

For each bedroom & bathroom you add, the rates jump. In the lower level of this house we have a 2 bedroom apartment with direct walk-out to the beach. It is a "lock-off" unit meaning you can rent 1 extra bedroom with a bathroom (accessible from the beach house) which we call "cozy corner' or the entire 2 bedroom apartment (which is also fully accessible from the Beach House) thus giving you a total of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. In the 5 bedroom configuration (including our Loft), we can accommodate 13 + guests. Check out our snuggle beach website [VRBO 12670] to view the apartment. Again, this is based on availability, the apartment may be rented to other guests. Approximate Rates to add 1 bedroom & bathroom: $500 more in low season, $700 more in high season, plus tax. NOTE: All units are completely self contained with their own kitchens and bathrooms. You will NOT be sharing your space with anyone except your own family members.

You also have the option of just adding the studio apartment which has a full kitchen and bathroom. This would give a little more privacy for family friends or parents, perhaps, who don't necessarily want to be with you 24/7. PLEASE NOTE: VRBO rates DO NOT APPLY for more than 7 guests (assuming the 7th will sleep in the Loft).

If you are having a family reunion, or are down for a wedding, contact me and I'll do my best to make it work for all of you. We can also add our Cottage By The Sea. Large groups require a $1000 damage deposit.

Our property manager is on-site regularly, quite often early in the morning. If you have any problems at all, need anything, have questions or need recommendations, Just ask! The property manager is your point of contact when you are on the island and will do everything possible to make sure your vacation is wonderful.

Please note, the 3 bedroom Beach House holds a maximum of 9 people, but a maximum of 6 adults and 3 children. If there are more adults, you would need to add additional bedrooms. (Based on availability -- please inquire before booking.)

There are no refunds on deposits but we will give you a future credit in the same amounts on all lodging and fly fishing packages.
